In 2022 I was awarded an A.S. Hornby Dictionary Research Award (ASHDRA) by the A.S. Hornby Trust. This award was in the form of a grant, which was used for research. The study I did was A pocket electronic bilingualised school dictionary for primary school learners in South Africa, which followed on from my PhD, and took the electronic entries I had designed, and proposed an electronic dictionary device.
